Nursery Admissions

Oakfield Primary Academy operates a full time Nursery running from 08:45 - 15:15. A full day totals 6.5 hours or we offer 3-hour morning places 08:45 - 11:45 and 3 hour afternoon places 12:15 - 15:15

We can provide both 15 and 30 funded hour places. Parents wishing to pay for additional sessions can do so at £6 per hour. For more information on whether you are entitled to free childcare, please visit Childcare Choices website by clicking here. 

Our nursery provides your child with the perfect start to their educational journey in a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Our dedicated and experienced staff focus on fostering curiosity, creativity, and social development through play-based learning. We offer a rich variety of activities that support early learning in key areas such as communication, physical development, and personal well-being. With a strong focus on individual care, we ensure that every child feels valued and encouraged to explore at their own pace. The Nursery Class: 

Morning Session: 08:45 - 11:45 

Lunch: 11:45 - 12:15 

Afternoon Session: 12:15 - 15:15 

If you are eligible for 30 funded hours of childcare, we structure this in the following way:

Monday - Thursday: 08:45 - 15:15 

Friday: 08:45 - 12:45 (with the option of paying £12 for a 15:15 finish) 

You can supply your child with a packed lunch or opt for a school meal at the price of £2.60.
